Engagement: Provide Solid Waste Management Collection Service Contract Agreement Development and Negotiation Services for the Butte County Department of Public Works
Description of Services: From 1999-2002, IntelliWaste provided solid waste management planning, assessment and legal agreement development services for the County Board of Supervisors with private haulers licensed to operate within the County.
Our scope of work included reviewing background information, interviewing key stakeholders, drafting a collection service agreement, development of a rate view methodology based on an analysis of current and projected financial operating information, and development of a County-wide integrated waste management system.
IntelliWaste crafted a forward thinking collection contract agreement that stressed customer service and rights while regulating the activities of the companies to the benefit of the ratepayers.
